The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hoosier Chapter, Indiana’s leading association for public relations professionals, held its annual Pinnacle Awards celebration last night. The event, which took place at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre, was emceed by Indianapolis weatherman and radio personality Paul Poteet.
The awards celebrate the best and brightest in communications projects and programs from 2010, honoring students and professionals who submitted work from the past year in a number of categories.
“The Hoosier Chapter’s Pinnacle Awards honors some of the most creative and innovative campaigns and tactics from Indiana’s public relations practitioners,” said Hoosier Chapter President Becky Polston, APR. “The entries represent the diverse membership of our chapter with submissions from agencies, corporations and non-profits, as well as from some of our student chapters.”
Best of Show honors were given in the professional categories to St. Vincent Health and Shank Public Relations Counselors and in the student categories to University of Indianapolis Top Dog Communication and Anderson University.
Awards also were given to organizations for programs (campaigns with multiple elements) and projects (one-time events or materials) in the following categories:
